clanking and rattling sounds

didnt know how to do it without using youtube sorry.

on my 2005 the clanking rattle sound doesnt happen when im idle and revving engine 3k-4k rpms

the moment i put it in drive and go 5 mph -10 mph its making a clanking sound like something is hitting under my hood...

engine feels fine when idle and revving though could still be an engine problem or what? i can try to record a sound file maybe if that would help

like a screw is loose behind the dash or in the engine bay rattling around? or metal clanking? random or does it speed up with RPMs?

 

like a metal clanking. only happens when im driving. i can rev engine to 3k rpms when in park and no clanking.

 

All I can hear is wind...

 

What I could hear before the wind noise sounded like a ticking sound. If it doesn't change with engine speed then I think you can rule out an engine issue. If you get up to speed, while hearing the noise, and shift into neutral while at speed and the sound doesn't change then I think you can rule out the transmission as well. At that point maybe it's a wheel, or axle related issue?
