Belt from factory is on it's last legs. Frayed 2/3 of the width at one point. Thinking of hitting up scrapyard for seatbelts from other vehicles. Tacomas are never there. Anyone have experience installing belts taken from other Toyota models or other Asian makers (Honda, Mazda, etc)?

I have a similar problem and was thinking of ordering from an overstock parts supply online if they are still available. I like junkbyards as they are cheaper however.

Did you solve this, if so, how did you do it?
