Amazon. U-Channel trim. I use the stuff with the tape backer on mine.

Be very careful when ordering from Amazon with these. I’ve consistently gotten wrong product from them despite being the same part number.

Check out this post. I’d suggest ordering from Sunni racing. It’s not as thin as it looks. Covered all of the chips when I cut mine.

Lucky. I have a small pile of wrong stuff I’ve gotten. I think my problem is I try to buy via bushwhacker part numbers and get some Chinese version that’s not even close.

What you posted is pretty much what I use though.

Since we were on the welding talk recently, I’ve been looking into taking a workshop to learn the basics of MIG.

Anyone recommend a place in Orange County?

I’ll probably end up with either of these two machines:

    Eastwood MIG 180
    PrimeWeld MIG 180

    Anyone have experience with either?
They are both about the same price and a comfortable limit for my budget.

And a 3-part question, would it be useful/cheaper to practice my basics with flux core just to get technique down?
Then actually use solid core and gas when I do any projects later on.

Flux vs solid welds extremely different. Practice with what you intend to use. Also, Check out everlast. I have 4 of their units now. All have been flawless and on par with big name stuff.

You won't regret everlast. Also, I have had 2 warranty claims. Both of which were flawless no questions asked.

I have a Primeweld TIG 225x. It works great. If the box it ships in is any indication of the care they put into building the welder then it’s top notch. The box and packaging are so nice that I kept them just because.

finally got the brackets from sendcutsend.....fedex shipped them to ohio.....than took 5 days to get them back to washington.....f them! at least it looks like i got the drawings right this time, i'll verify fitment before im willing to send out files but if anyone wants the 1st version they can have them for the cost of shipping. for a 3" axle you should only have to trim off a 1/4 of the bottom to have them fit correctly. @Evenflow i'll rework the files for a 3" if you and @Airdog want them.

If you are willing to rework them, I'd be more that willing to take them. Really appreciate the offer!

Just thought of something...what size rotors are you using?? Pretty sure mine are 12.88 inches.
