just got these wheels and tires. These tires are awesome! First set of mts for me.
Wheels are kmc impact ok 17x9 -12offset
I did the cab mount chop. Flattened the pinch welds and a fair amount of fender flare and plastic trimming. Finally have it to where it doesn't rub. Good thread here and info from
Other members here made me set up my game lol. But damn 35s looking mighty fine down the road :bananadead:
Tire noise is there while driving but it is what it is. Just drive and it drowns out. They have good handling on the roads.

Have any more pictures of the tire poke perhaps looking down the side of the truck? I keep looking at -10, -12, -25 and -38 offsets and can't decide.

Also joined team Yoko this week coming from Wildpeaks AT3W and prior to that KBRO2. I went up from 265-70-16 to 265-75-16. I was struggling between the Falkens and these, but wanted to give these a try. These tires look badass and almost a full 1.5” diameter difference.

Originally had Tacoma TRD pro wheels and KO2 with total weight of 77.8 lbs and averaged 17-18 mpg. Switched to Falkens and SCS Rays 10 for weight of 64.5 lbs averaged 19-20. +1 size in the Yokos with Rays10 77.1 lbs, avg 15-16 so far.

I definitely feel the weight but they surprisingly seem softer than both Falken and KO2. My wife didn’t even notice the difference and she thought they looked badass as well. I say softer but not as smooth of a ride due to the MT treads. Braking takes more effort than the Falkens but identical to the KO2. Not going to lie braking and acceleration around town sucks due to the weight.

I had a chance to try them out in sandy and silty mud conditions at a local lake immediately. These things are awesome in those conditions. I hit a decent water hole and they gripped excellent. Haven’t tried them in the snow.

I purchased these tires for primarily forest fire roads and for ease of mind on moderate rated trails like Laurel Lakes. I don’t want to rock crawl at all. Next week I will try them in the snow and hopefully in wet slushy conditions to see how they behave. Fortunately Yokohama has a 30 trial period as my verdict is still not in on these.
