Just happen to notice I’ve been here 4 years. I knew of TW years before I joined and waited over 2 1/2 years after I bought my Tacoma.

At the time I was swaying away from social type sites and working on more personal engagements with family and friends versus connecting through a phone app / site. Was just my own personal preference at the time.

Stared doing mods, TW always popped up on searches but stayed strong for years. Time goes by and decided to join. Glad I did, don’t regret it and don’t feel bad not doing it sooner. I was on my own life path at the time.

Curious of other people’s reasons and why you joined, stayed , other people move on from Toyota stuff and stay, or don’t even own a Toyota and join and or stay.

you have a problem, search, see TW and join?

Tell your story. Why did you join? Just to try and sell something? HA! Or just troll?

I wanted to learn all about the new truck. While I waited for it I read some great stories! Time to get some miles (221).

Wanted to know why a $20,000 midsize truck cost close to $40,000. Can't say I ever found the answer.

Most all the info I searched the best results that came up were from tacomaworld. Plus its not cluttered with ads and the format tops the other forums that would pop up. People are great and info comes in plethoras. Glad to be here

We all share the love for Tacomas. This forum isn’t filled with shit talking dumbasses like most other forums. That’s why I stay. Tons of knowledge here, you can find an answer to damn near any question you have.

I just enjoy driving the most reliable mid size pickup there has ever been and ever will be.

And fuck yes, they’re slow as a slug, they are overpriced, aren’t the most comfortable… but you sure do have a piece of mind getting into it every day. I’ve done my share of vehicle purchasing/trading (35) vehicles since I was 16…. And guess what I always come back to……. Toyota Tacoma.

Bought my first Taco in 16, joined when I bought my second in 2018. I'm fairly sure I was lurking to reference various installs. And then I noticed a certain crew of miscreants (about half of which have been since banned). So I jumped into the fracas.

I found Tacoma World by accident while researching my purchase of a 2017 Tacoma SR. I wanted a base truck without all the stuff I will never use but I didn't want a truck that looked like a base truck considering what we have to pay for these things today. The mustache was out, and I held out until I found an SR with painted bumpers. I joined Tacoma World after I saw the Buy -Sell and Trade link. I realized I could actually build my truck the way I wanted with all the parts you guys were selling while doing mods. I was able to sell or trade my SR parts and even paid it forward a couple times. That is what makes Tacoma World so neat. I now have the truck I really wanted, and I figure I saved around $6000.
