A lot of options. Assuming they meet spec, there’s not going to be a discernible difference. A lot of people will say a given oil “is great” or “is best”. Ask yourself how they came to this conclusion.

You will most likely get lots of different answers but here's what I run and recommend

Engine: 0w-20 (I've used Mobil 1 and Amazon basics synthetic)
    Manual Trans: Redline MT-90
    Transfer case : Redline MT-90
Differentials: Lucas 85W-140 (as recommended by East Coast Gear Supply)

I'd put wally world oil in everything except maybe the transmission, I seem to recall a thread about additives and syncros that the redline stuff worked better or something.

    Welcome to the forum :hattip:

Section 9.1 of your owners manual starting about page #573 clearly provides all the lubrication specifications for your vehicle. Any products meeting the listed Toyota specifications will be satisfactory.

I used Motorcraft XT-M5-QS in my manual, it meets Toyota specifications and made a nice improvement over the factory fill.

Rock Auto had the best price when I purchased it.

OP, you’d be better of going to the parts store and picking the one “looks” best to you.
You’ll be more confused by the time you read all the opinions here.

Never the less, I’d recommend the type and viscosity recommended in the owners manual.

    Myself, I’m not picky.
I use the oily type. Something is better than nothing.

Personally i just use the OEM oils for the truck from Toyota. Makes life nice and simple.

    Simple, yes.
    Cheaper? No.

But at least you know it “works”.

Pretty hard to beat the cost of mobil 1 engine oil from wallyworld, plus its basically what toyota uses.

Amsoil for everything except the transfer case, where I use factory fluids. Some of the best fluids out there.
