Just joined tonight and have a question if anyone has used a Taco Tunes sub box for behind the seat. I had to remove the plastic panel but when the sub hits hard it hits the back straps of the seat. I know it’s a tight space but does anyone know what to cover the back of the seat with and has anyone recessed the sub in the box

I don't have that sub box but mine used to hit as well. Longer seat bolts and washer are the solution. I don't remember the size but i know there is others that have done it. I can look at my old ones tomorrow and let you know

I think my issue has been resolved about the straps from the back of the seat being an issue. Thanks for the idea of adding spacers but also adding thin material to cover the hole back seat. I have one JL 10tw3 with a 350 watt sound ordinance amp and it is very loud

The back of the seat plastic has to be removed but then you’ll need to cover it with fabric. Also the sub is really close to the seat. I’m thinking of recessing the speaker down at least a quarter inch
