Hey Guys, I've got 2019 trd pro I just bought. When I bought it the spare was on the front passenger side with no tpms stem. I bought a new rim, new tire, new tpms stem and had firestone mount it. Now I'm getting a low tire pressure warning from that tire every couple days even though it's at 35 psi. The specs say all it needs is 30 psi.

The 3rd gen TPMS does not support a 5th sensor.

I hit the tpms reset button already, but I'll try it again. I didn't put a tpms on the spare just on the new rim.

It's probably a oem tpms since firestone got it, they did relearn it because if I put air in the tire the display warning goes away.

What is the PSI in the tire when it triggers the TPMS warning.

Sounds like the tire/wheel has a leak

It's triggering at 35 psi. The two front tires show 35 psi and the two rear show 34 psi.

Ok…so the front show 35 but the actual air pressure in the tire is in the mid 20’s?
What I’m getting at is the TPMS sensor may not be reading correctly…if it says 35 on the dash but only has mid 20’s something is wrong with the sensor

It's not in the mid 20's, it's 35 psi. The truck dashboard and my digital pressure device both read 35 psi. I thought the truck only needed 30 psi, the tpms warning keeps triggering at 35 psi and anything less than 35 psi.

Ok …maybe I misread post #8..you really need to have it checked
A low battery can trigger the tpms light also..you need to have all the sensors scanned… check battery condition and check sensor ID’s in the data list

Suggest you take time to push the button and reset again until yellow indicator blinks. I got new tires and it took a few times before it started reading properly.

Doubtful. it is probably an aftermarket, and possibly not programmed correctly or compatible with the other sensors, or the rfid reader. take it back to firestone, and have them try to fix it. Ski
