How to remote start 2020 and newer TACOMAS with key fob

    Yep, my 2023 offroad would NOT remote start with the FOB. While I don't think its really related to the stupid app, it wasn't until I enabled the free trials in the app that I was led to a menu in the truck, to authorize the vehicle for remote services, that it started to work. You may be able to do this without the app...its just how I discovered the menu in question.

    Press menu then apps then authorize (or something like that). You'll receive an email with a 6 digit code. Punch that into the dash, it authorizes your vehicle and you're good to go.
