    Hi everyone,

I was having issues where my Bluetooth would cut out while I was on a call. Sometimes the phone call would drop and sometimes it was just the Bluetooth connection to my phone. I never had an issue with music. I searched for an answer through these threads but I never found one (maybe the same solution I found has been posted but I just didn’t find it - apologies if so) so I thought I’d share in the hopes of helping out.
After removing all Bluetooth devices from my iPhone and reintroducing them one at a time, I discovered my issue was with my Apple AirPods. I was given them as a present and had issues soon after. I can have multiple Bluetooth devices linked on my phone and have no connectivity issues but when my AirPods are linked I get the dropped call issue.
I’m not sure if it’s all the time or only when they’re in the truck with me as they live in my laptop bag which is almost always with me.
Now I know what the issue is I just forget the device after I’ve finished using them. If I don’t, the problem returns. Ironically, it happened to me yesterday while I was on a call to the dealer to ask about my 2023 Tacoma I have on order. I called back after I removed the AirPods from my phone’s Bluetooth and told him about the issue but he hadn’t heard of it before.

    I hope this helps out.
