    Sorry for the nuub question but just looking to know what this is on top of the rear diff. This is in a 2003 3.4L TRD DoubleCab. Thx

    LSPV. Load sensing proportioning valve. Adjust rear brake pressure to how much load you have in the back.

    I recommend you get some rust protection on the underside of your truck also. Frame and axle etc.

    Thx. Haven’t had truck long. Toyota did spray the truck for the frame recall.

    I think that stuff they used made the problem worse.
