8-10 inches of ice on the lake so far. Gonna give it a week or 2 more before trying to drive up on it

I just use the Tpms pipe bomb lol. Haven’t touched it in years and haven’t needed to pressurize it.

The asphalt needed to be changed since we moved in. I just don’t put a plank of wood under the jack as the asphalts already screwed. Never good when the jack can’t roll though. Will say I haven’t dropped the truck yet. Still time though lol.

From what I read on here, the sensor alert is like 5-6 psi from what you set it at when doing the TPMS relearn. Ergo, if you set it at 15 and do the relearn, it won't alert when aired down.

would having the 4 tires near the truck (ie on a rack) be close enough to trigger the sensors? or am i building a pipe bomb?

Just depends if you use your Tpms system on your truck. Mines just a light saying tires are low. No read out on mine. So I did the pipe bomb to get rid of the light since people worried the truck was going to blow up when they drove it. It’s going to blow up but that’s not the light to tell you.

    ummm .....ya.
10 inches will give you 3.5 tons of support weight. I remember all that shit from back in the sled days...knowing when the groomers would actually cross the ice. Most would go way before that anyways. Funny a foot will give you 8 ton gross...wild what two inches will give.
