I have a 21 Tacoma TRD off-road. This is my every day drive so I’m not looking to make crazy only off-road adjustments. I have been looking at the bilstein 5100a, and it looks like they have an adjustable lift range of 0-2”. My question is are there any issues that would happen if I put these on at zero inch lift, and on the weekends if I am going somewhere where I need some more clearance adjust them, and then zero them agai. when i get home? hipefully this makes sense. first time doing any of thos so still a noob.

The adjustment' is spring perch (seat) location options.

Lift is created by preloading the spring.

You aren't going to disassemble / reassemble for weekend outings. Not to mention that ride height changes alter alignment settings.

Springs always carry the load. Shocks control spring motion, hence why their really dampers.

Like said, thats not a quick adjustment. Its like a total disassembly.

No real way to make a height adjustable truck on this IFS. The back can get air bags and that will change the back height, but its just going to make it stiffer and not really wheel any better.

The truck is pretty capable 4 wheeling in stock form. But expect some scratches and dents along the way if your trying.

Got ya. It looked more adjustable in the few videos I saw. Sounds like it’s not a realistic option.

I don’t mind a few dings, just put rock sliders on, and will be doing the full armor under the truck. I have taken it to a few places and it does great. Always looking for the next mod though

If it's not paid off, that's a great one.

I don’t see this as a viable plan. There are some new trucks on the market with on demand ride height adjustment though.
