Hey community I lifted my 5 lug 2nd gen Tacoma with 2.5” inches and didn’t do alignment but truck rides straight and smooth. Do I still need to do the alignment? Thank you. And second question I live in Midwest where it snows often and they put salt on roads how can I keep my Tacoma frame clean from that.

Yes, you still need Alignment. Your camber and caster are probably off.

lot of people put fluid flim on their frames. As I understand it, it’s like an oil coating.

But I only lifted the body not the suspension? And many sites are saying body lift doesn’t require alignment, it’s only when you lift suspension that alignment becomes important

    And if
Just a body lift. No alignment needed, if any suspension parts were not touched
