    Hey guys,

I started this project almost two years ago and just started working on it again today. I've finally found some time and motivation to get it finished. When reinstalling the reflector bowl into the housing, do you have any advice for how much to turn each screw shown in the picture? I know these provide vertical and horizontal adjustment, but I'm not sure how deep into the housing the reflector bowl needs to sit. Is it best to tighten them down all the way and then install on the truck, and then back them off into adjustment? I wish I would have counted the turns when I initially removed the reflector bowls.

    Thanks for the help!

I guess when I remove my existing headlights, I could tighten each screw all the way and count the turns. Then I'll know how many turns back from fully tight I'll have to adjust my new ones.

Not really the same. I'm assuming that you are going to install HID reflectors for your retrofit? Typically you'll install your HID reflectors then temp install the headlights on the vehicle to set your alignment and make your adjustments before you seal the lens on the headlight housing.

Yes they are HIDs. I'm going to install them on the truck before I seal them up to set the horizontal level.

The up/down and left/right afjustments can be made after they're sealed up. The screws are on the outside of the housing. I could also do it at the same time I set the level. Would just be nice to have them sort of ballparked before I install them.
