Thanks for having me. Here for info and to build truck for move to the great wilderness of Wyoming next year.

Don’t need therapy, I have two dogs. Wish it was true but thought I’d add a truck to them and the shrink. More money to be spent.

23 year vet too many places to name. Let’s just say my world map has markers all over it, most in other countries.

The outdoors has been my best therapy. Usually spend two to three months a year on the road in states with mostly unpaved roads ie Wyoming, Montana, West Virginia.

Gear head at heart. Currently finishing 67 RS/SS Camaro. Owned a Hilux and Opel Gt when stationed in “West” Germany.

Current hobbies are long distance shooting, teaching practical pistol defense courses, dogs, taking care of my wife’s mother (that increased beer consumption), rc rock crawling, spending time outside in the energy of nature, and helping struggling veterans through Operation 11 Charlie. www.o11c.org

The only dumb question is the one not asked. I’ll be asking a lot so don’t hesitate to ask of me.

Welcome to the forum, and also, welcome to Wyoming!

Be sure to put your Veteran plate on whatever vehicle would cost you the most to register, and brace yourself for Wyoming's registration costs. :spending:

    Thank you for your service.

Well seeing as Wyoming respects retired veterans and won’t be taking 12 percent like Virginia does I will be more than happy to move there. Let’s not talk personal property taxes where I live now.

Yeah, your property taxes should be less here, but you'll pay more than most states for your registration. I do like that Wyoming give Veterans a break on that. No state income tax is nice too. You will rack up mileage, though. More miles driven per capita than any other state. To get anywhere or do anything, it's miles and miles.

Trust me I like the miles and miles. Spent July thru end of September there looking at property. The entire state has 1/3 the population of Richmond here. Did I mention I don’t like people that much? Hehehe. And almost no trash to be seen on the roads. Currently have property on the second look list around Medicine Bow and over in Johnston County. Trying to stay within two to three hours of Warren AFB.
