For some reason I struggle when trying to rap my head around wiring so I'm reaching out for some help. I have 3 sets of lights I'm installing and powering threw the Auxbeam switch panel and I think I have that all figured but the backlight power si causing me stress. lol
Should I bring them all into 1 and tie into ???
At first I was thinking to link in an add a fuse so when I start truck they come on but now I'm thinking to tie in with parking lights.
All wires are already ran to engine bay awaiting next move..
Looking for any tips, tricks or hell just come show me and drink my beer.

So the question is when do you want them to come on? Do you want them on anytime the truck is running? Do you want them on when your parking lights are on? Do you want them on a switch?

I personally have my backlights/accent lights tied to ignition with a quick-disconnect under the hood to kill them all if I don't want them. Once I know your "when" I can easily help out with the "how".

Seen people hook it up with an add a fuse to the low beam. Could also use tail / parking

For the lights connect them to your Auxbeam as usual for the backlight FBC Harness Soulutions makes plug & play harnesses for Raptor and/or backlights that connect to your parking/drl. First you'll need to know what year & trim your Tacoma is & what headlights (halogen/LED) you have.

For more help with these you can talk to @daveeasa as he's the man making the harnesses.

Here's a screenshot I pulled from the Morimoto headlight installation guide. Take a good look at this and then I'll explain a bit after.

This is one of the ignition powered fuses. What you can do is use a fuse tap like seen here and scavenge power/signal from this location. The backlights pull the tiniest amount of juice so that's of little concern.

So - Bring the backlight wires together at some sort of plug that you can connect/disconnect, and then run a single lead to this location with an add-a-fuse. That's the easiest way to accomplish what I referenced.

Of course you can always run it to a switch on your panel or something as well.

How would I go about running it to my Auxbeam, Being only a single pos wire? Do I just add a neg and ground it to the truck? And doing this eliminates the add a fuse, correct.

The backlight shares the ground with the main beam internally on the SS3. Run the backlight wire directly to a hot source. It doesn't need a separate ground.

OP, if you have DRL on the Turn Bulb, you could have the backlight as additional DRL/TURNS/HAZ. But DRL feature would be OFF when low beams are selected. But there's also a solution for that...
