So...

Flying out to FL tonight, to go spend Thanksgiving with the bro in law down there and the fam.

Gonna go on record saying this fucking sucks. Starting to get a bit annoyed that we're always the ones going down there, and they never come up.

Add to that this... flight was supposed to leave at 9:30pm out of Bradley. Mrs didn't check the flight status until we were already half way up here. Turns out, flight got changed this AM to 10:30pm. And now it's delayed until 11:40pm or some crap.

I still have to work tomorrow cause my co-worker has been out all this week and the following, so at this rate I'm not even gonna sleep tonight. Especially since when we land in Orlando it'll be around 2:30am, gotta pick up the rental and then drive 1 1/2 hours to get "home".

I'm over travelling... especially with two "little" ones.

On the subject of Thanksgiving...I was at my dentist a few weeks ago and his assistant comes into the room and announces "I'm sweating like a pig"
Well..that lead to the three of us discussing if pigs do in fact sweat, pigs being tasty, and smoking pork shoulders. Which led to whether to roast a turkey, deep fry a turkey or smoke it.

Dentist (who I've known for 30 yrs) wanted to do his turkey on a weber kettle but doesn’t have one anymore. I offered to lend him mine rather than look for one Craigslist. Told my wife he was going to swing by and grab my kettle.

"Why does he need your grill."

and some favorites I pulled off when I had the truck in for work- dont want sticky fingers getting any of these. This isnt all of them; also have some on a patch mat tucked away



I have curtailed my patch buying significantly; trying to direct my finances towards the house, and getting the truck where I want it.

I havent gotten anything from nicklee but I do like his stiff. I went in on that give away for you; if I win, that ones yours.

 

Showed up to this house expecting to move a TV from one room to the other, all client supplied (hour of my day, tops lmao). Get there and the guy says no we're not, we have to troubleshoot why his cell service sucks and his wifi is slow.....call up the PM, no answer, call up the AM, says there's all kinds of shit not lining up so just wrap up and leave. Sure

 

So Mary saw an ab roller on the side of the road. Calls me up. Hey she says. Go down the street and grab the ab roller. I asked Do you really think it will match the rest of the museum pieces in out exercise room?!
