Looking to add an amp to stock radio in hopes to increase watts to speakers (no subs just yet). Instead of cutting and splicing, does anyone know of a kit that I can get my hands on to wire speaker wires from radio to amp, and then into the factory harness??

Tell them what your made/model/trim level/etc. They tell you what fits and what you need to make it work. They are 10/10 and have been around for decades. Their CS is top of the line as well.

If you add an amp to factory speakers, you’ll blow them pretty quick so just be prepared for that

look up the kicker key on here. Super easy install for people wanting something basic and cheap with good results for the money and time.

here’s something I posted in a different thread

Oh I plan to do speakers as well. Just trying to find a no cut option.

The Kicker Key seems to be the popular option on here. Taco Tunes has a harness option that works for it as well I believe. I wouldn't recommend Kicker speakers but that amp seems to be able to accomplish what you're looking for.

I'm liking the Kicker Key. So if I just run the Metra 70-1765 and 71-1765 harnesses and the other necessary wires (power, ground, 12v turn on) I'll be set?

Don’t get those Metra parts. Way too much money for the few wires you actually need

    grab this

So just cut those wires, splice in the amp, run power, ground, and 12v turn on and I'm good?

Sorry to bug you again, got the wiring harness today. Do I cut this in half, with one side going to the from factory radio to amp, and then the other going amp to factory harness? Slightly confused

Just wanted to make sure before I did the cutting, thank you! Final question, which wire did you tap for the 12v turn on?

You can just set the key to auto turn-on and you don’t need a remote trigger

i was thinking about doing the same but using an AudioControl D4.800 DSP. I heard somewhere that the auto GTO feature on the amp is kinda flaky with Toyota's .....anyone else have that experience??
having a 2022 tacoma ive heard they have eliminated the remote turn on wire ....dont want to use something that will keep the amp on and run my battery down.

This arrived today and the Alpine Power Pack should get here later this week. Looking at this Red Wolf harness it appears it's only got wiring for the speakers.

I went with the Alpine for the simplicity of getting power and ground from the factory head unit. Is there a harness I can use to prevent having to cut into the factory harness for power and ground?

    Thanks!
