    Hello.
I've been looking at the site for a while, but finally joined. Really looking forward to participating & giving my opinions on what I tried.

I have a 2021 Tacoma SR 4x4 V6 with the OEM TRD Lift Kit (dealer installed). I already noticed many opinions in TacomaWorld on the OEM-TRD Lift Kit, but personally I'm glad I got it. My latest mod was a heavy front steel bumper (170 lbs?), but will probably return to the OEM bumper. I don't like the weight up front & the need to upgrade the front suspension & besides it looks funny with my tiny-tires.

Yes, I am looking to upgrade the tires my tiny-tires... SR's OEM size 245/75R16 to 235/85R16 (32" pizza cutters), but that's on the back burner until I put the OEM bumper back on.

Thanks for letting me join. I really appreciate all of your posts

It is. It's the house my wife grew up in which we inherited. View is nice, but unfortunately, that's almost the entire 'usable' back yard.

Welcome! Awesome truck! Any specific reason you like the factory lift kit?

    Thanks!

I'm a TLAR (that looks about right) person. Bottom line is I don't trust myself enough to re-design stuff, especially the Tacoma suspension. Mostly because there is a lot of invisible engineering nuances that goes into a design that I don't see or understand. I do think there are lots of smart people on this forum who do the research & modify their trucks successfully. I wish them the best and hope Toyota reads TW and can incorporate their designs into future Tacomas.

With the TRD Lift Kit factory mod, it was most prudent for me to use what Toyota engineering stands behind & spend the extra $2000+ when I bought the truck.
