I just pickup up a 2003 one owner 4x4 V6 access cab with 133k. I had a new '18 OR that I had to part with but knew I wanted an older taco and I like the Gen 1. I want to make this my camp rig. I hope this forum will help me learn my new rig and what to consider doing within budget.

Is it crazy to consider a Ute B6 flatbed with intent to drop a fleet shell and boxes? Or just go with stock bed and call it good.

Yeah, we don’t believe your good fortune unless There is accompanying photo evidence…

a lot can be done with stock bed, low sides- topper or better yet, GFC. Rough it with a bed tent or softopper..

keep weight low and that truck will do a lot with a little upgraded suspension a size or two larger tires

Thanks. I'll probably start with a shell, as I have an FSR 49" Odessey RTT that currently resides on my allroad.
