I know there is probably a thread somewhere but I need to get my son a console safe for his 19 Taco Crew cab. Hopefully one that has a tray on top as well. Any suggestions?

OEM. No tray, but they are inexpensive on Amazon.

I have the locker down in the truck and a console vault in another vehicle. Both seem to be good quality, and not letting anyone in easily.

Note I think they are both basically the same general size/opening to drop into the center console, which means straight down on all sides and then an inset for the door. It does limit the space inside but that is the price.

I bought a console safe vault couple years ago and definitely one of my most useful mods/upgrades. At the time there wasn’t an oem version otherwise would have gone with that.

I looked at locker down bc I had one in another truck. It sucks you lose the dividers in the console using a safe.

Toyota and Lexus use the Console Vault as their OEM safe. It is a good quality product, and about $50 cheaper on Console Vault’s website. Plus, you get to pick between key, 3 digit combo or 4 digit combo.
