So this brat has figured out how to break open her crate door. She greeted me at the door this morning after work. She was so proud of herself. She has a new crate coming. I’m guessing she wanted to take herself for a walk, because she yanked down her leash bending the thing I keep my keys hung on. I found the leash in my bed. LOL

I’m beginning to think she was an outside dog. Two weeks in to heart worm treatment and doing okay so far. Still trying to figure out what behaviors are her testing boundaries or acting out.

 

Kimo has been given a bit more roam at night so he usually posts up on my bed and unlike is brother from another mother, he is not a restless sleeper--you would not know that by his daytime behavior. Once he's down for the night, he's down. Gonna make a good winter camper. Except, when he hears shit, he barks...

 

Yesterday Lola had her last ride in the back of my Tacoma. 16 1/2 years of the sweetest love you could get from a Lab. Lola might not been the smartest Lab but she sure had her looks and the most gentle soul. Rest In Peace old girl cause I already miss you so much. She came home in my 2006 Taco. Road around in the 2012 Taco for 10 years. Got to ride a few times in the 2021. Hope you enjoyed all three Tacoma’s old girl.

 

RIP little pup. You were the goodest of girls.

So many super nice pitties with great dispositions out there ready to be rescued! My wife's friend fosters pits that come up to eastern Canada from the US on a regular basis. Most come from Freedom Bridge in Georgia.

 

So sorry for your loss. I’ve been there many of times.
My suggestion is to give it a little while and get another one to help fill the void.

 

After being gone from home for 2 weeks for work, my little man has grown tremendously.
