So, we're in Austin, TX again. Didn't drive down this time, flew in. I picked up the rental at Austin - Bergstrum and drew a new Kia Soul. Not a bad rental car at all. For a rental it has a lot of options, one if which is Android Auto. Which I didn't know until I plugged my Galaxy into the USB port in the center console. I was only planning to use it to charge the phone, but it auto connected. It's not bad at all, although I could certainly live without it.

Anyway, that got me to thinking. Does my 2019 SR5 have that? It has HD, XM (not activated), BT, etc..., but I don't know if it's capable of Android Auto.

Of course I can just wait until I get back home and give it a try, but...

Hmmmm... I'll see if anything there is the culprit. Would be weird since I haven't really toyed with any of those screws, but will check it out.

Thanks for the help thus far.. I'll shoot you a PM so we don't clog up the chat

I may have asked this here before but does anyone have any hot tips for a place to shoot long (1000+) distances?

I've been hitting a power corridor up here on the advice of a warden, but I'm always on the lookout for other good spots.

It’ll be me an the dog this go around. Wifey went to her parents with the other mutt. Earlier in the year (for a reason unannounced) I was informed my presence wouldn’t be anticipated.
That’s the polite way. To put it.

Ouch. I hope you work that out. If my wife or I did that to each other, it would not end well.

That will have to suffice. I looked on Crutchfield to see what it would cost to buy a new radio. It would be close to $1,500.00 if I want to retain the ability to change settings using the head unit.
