Hey everyone!! Maybe someone can help me out. The other day I went to get my truck inspected in NJ where I live. I ended up failing due to the DMVs system not being able to connect to my ecu. I have a obd2 scanner and plugged it into the port. I was able to connect along with getting live data. Anyone have any idea what’s going on?

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
How many times did they try removing and reconnecting??

Sometimes a little corrosion on the truck side will cause a Can Not Connect issue.

It does not take much to cause a poor connection.

While your device or devices work fine.

A little Electrical cleaner can work wonders. Protect your eyes.

    Good Luck!

sounds like their equipment is the problem. Can you get it inspected at a different location?

Yeah just go to a different place. Or get an obd splitter for them to try and use.
