Benchmade and Spyderco both had a price increase this year.

I’ve got a Benchmade Foray that I’d sell you for a really good price. It’s an awesome knife. I’ve used the crap out of it and it is super tough. Its got 20CV blade steel.

Cole and I tried to get some fire to this engine, pulled the flywheel and cleaned everything, filed the points too. No go. I’ll work on it another time.

If you have confirmed no spark, replace the condenser.

 

I’m getting spark at the points but not at the plug. Tried a different plug and checked the plug wire as well. Ordered new points, condenser, and coil.

 

Is it like a upright rotor tiller engine?

 

Corrosion on the cap (or more likely) the wire?

 

Cap and rotor corosion is also my thought like old school vehicles

 

I messed up and got way too nice of a knife for my first one, got the Claymore auto in OD non serrated. Now all I want is auto flippers. Ive got my eye on the CLA auto, it weighs nothing and is so smooth.

I carried a Benchmade auto for years but the coil springs kept breaking and I got tired of replacing them

 

I like the CLA. Unfortunately I’ve decided not to add to my Benchmade collection because i have a larger list of higher class knives I want.
My favorite Benchmade is the Anthem. Their only full integral folder. My next two favorite Benchmades are the mini crooked river and crooked river.






These are my knives in my current daily carry rotation.
