    Hey Caleb,

Sorry to hear about four wheel drive dilemma. Let me get this straight. Your front c/v axles are not spinning, but your front gear shaft from the transfer case to the front differential is spinning. Unfortunately, I don't know the ADD system very well since our old 1999 is the conventional manual type, but I would start looking at the front differential itself at any electronic connections or vacuum connections even though you tested all of the vacuum lines. If you are not getting a light on the dash when you engage four wheel drive, the problem sounds like it is some kind of Toyota computer or interface intelligence some where.

Sorry I could not be more help. ADD is not my area of expertise.

    Good Luck,
    Paul

Check the vsv on the drivers front fender. Little solenoids, one red, one blue with vacuum hoses going into them. Make sure you've got vacuum in while running, pull off the hose coming from the vac tank in the fender well, and put your finger over it. You should feel suction there. While troubleshooting my 4Runner, I switched the vacuum input lines from one solenoid to the other, pulled the lever, and got 4wd. Got on eBay, bought a set of vsv's and problem solved.

Edit; just saw you have vacuum. Try swapping the input lines and see if that helps.

I have the same truck with the same exact problem, I changed the speed sensor, checked the fues and vacuum and all seemed fine. I was wondering if you ever found out what the problem was? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
