Ok, figured I'd try the replacement Autozone caliper. Noticed on the new part the inside casting half has 13WG, no other markings. I thought that was odd. The old one is stamped with what looks like AT, and a few date codes. Definitely OEM.
The outside of the new one has R2 and a date code, also a symbol that resembles the one on the other caliper. Sound like both are OEM casting? Or, half OEM and half an aftermarket?
Udate - I exchanged it for another at my local Autozone. They were very understanding. The newest one is OEM Toyota and much nicer casting, except it, too does not have the boot rings. I'll swap them from my defective caliper.
