Hard to get a good photo. Instead.on each use, ie, tail that only uses 1 section of the light housing this kit now uses both housing for tail lights and brake lights, the Fraser now uses the factory back up light part of the housing with an amber bulb . Note I also have the VLED license plate backup up kit installed. Some of the files are too large to upload 20221126_110838.jpg 20221126_110838.jpg 20221126_111029.jpg

Never Never Modify! Keep it aggravation free!
Put a new set of Yokohama Geolander AT tires. Much better than the original Firestone le2 tires. Only got 58000 out of the Firestone. Super quiet, nice ride and did a little 4 wheeling in the pines.

Been a busy couple of days! Got the black wrap done to cover the crappy fading paint on the hood and roof. Installed some Morimoto XB headlights, All Pro bumper, Cali Raised skid, and TRD Bilsteins to replace the spacer lift.

Last Night I picked up a 2023 TRD sport access cab with Auto trans. Yes it is my forth new Tacoma since 2007 the last one was a 2019 4x4 six speed. I did this to get away from the crummy shifting of the auto trans. I had been threw all of the upgrades ( TSBs) just got fed up. Loved the truck hated the auto trans.
I will be 71 in Dec. I am tired of shifting gears. I have been only 20 miles since yesterday in my new truck. time will tell if I need to return to shifting gears.

Added a WaterPort Day Tank to the Taco bed. Built the bracket with aluminum and benz-o-matic low temp brazing sticks. Pretty fun project today.

I don't overland and probably won't use the tank for showers, but I have it to clean game in the field, wash off gear, etc. A good friend sent me the tank as a gift. Awesome dude!

Diode Dynamics - I have the SSC2s in yellow, they're super bright. I like their low profile appearance and the amber backlighting can be switched however you want. Kinda expensive but not as bad as some others. I think they're priced right for what you get. Plus Black Friday deals are still going on. Try HotShot Offroad for free shipping and no sales tax plus the holiday discounts.

I see you're waiting on the 10L mounts from Wavian just like myself.

LOL. I'm thinking about fabbing something up to use the BuiltRight Molle Nuts. Thinking some alum. flat bar with 1/4" holes. That's IF I leave the can there.

Not a half-bad idea, honestly. Looking at the mount, you would probably only need about 6 ft. of aluminum, a can of primer, a can of spray paint, and a 6" x 6" 1/4" thick piece of delrin and an afternoon. It won't look as pretty as the mount from Wavian, but it would get the job done.

Thanks! Red is the most underrated color IMO. Also RPT1s are underrated also for this platform, 18lbs per wheel, looks killer, and easy to clean.

Ground down the edges on the Overland Equipped auxiliary fuse tray. Then decided to plasti-dip spray it as well to provide some more abrasion protection. Not a show room finish to it, but it’s good enough for government work. B3657690-FE72-4345-8E38-C66FCBDA5506.jpg3DADB8C9-80BD-47E9-B76D-8EB7439934E3.jpg
