I just finally installed my Ultra Terrain AT's yesterday. First I'm not a huge fan of Goodyear with always having balance/vibration issues and poor uniformity with every set I've ever owned. However I took a chance here because I got an incredible deal ($153 each) on the Labor Day sale and I love the deep, 3 peak certified tread. I was originally looking at Falken ATw3's which are probably the benchmark in this category right now.
All I can say is WOW. These are quite possibly the nicest all terrain truck tires I've purchased. The balanced PERFECTLY with very little weight! AMEN! The ride is only slightly stiffer than the worn OE LTX 2 M&S I just took off and I can't believe how quiet they are (they produce more of a "white noise" than an annoying hum).
I wouldn't say they're good for hardcore rock crawling only because the sidewall is only 2 ply but for basic on/off road I think they are outstanding (or at least the set I have is).

Thank you @Discount Tire for a great product, I hope they don't discontinue soon and I hope the high quality of the set I have wasn't just luck, but is the norm. Made in CANADA too, not some third world country.

Lastly, they look awesome! My girlfriend even commented on them, and she's not one to notice.

In for my second set. Approx. 75k+ on my last set. Went up to 265/75/16, very excited to move up a size this time around. Appreciate you Discount Tire.

I've taken these bad boys around the country.. twice. Everywhere from Maine, to Texas, to Arizona, to Moab, to Montana. In rain, in snow, in high heat -- from rocky terrain to sandy terrain to everything in between. Good stuff.

 

My last set of tires in this size didn’t rub. But my new ultraterrains in the same size did rub the mud flap. Just a heads up.

 

Ahhhh... haha and here I was thinking I did my due diligence reading through the thread. Appreciate that heads up. Decisions, decisions. My appt for install isn't until next Friday, this will definitely be on my mind.

These tires handle nice in this Utah snow as well!
