Barely any clearance between sway bar and coilover on driver and passenger side with drop spacer installed. This can’t be right.

I have the relocation installed in that picture I posted. I only have maybe 1/4 inch clearance. Idk if that’s enough. I guess I’ll see.

Do you have the lower eyelet spacer installed? It should be facing the front off the vehicle

Installed my Fox 2.5 coilovers yesterday and it was recommended by Steve at @AccuTune Offroad to go with 700# springs based on my mods. Got way more lift than I needed. Had Bilstein 6112 on before and already had 2" of lift. Got an additional 3.75" lift. Went from surface to fender 36.5 to 40.25". Was wondering if I can adjust to no preload and still have room for the shock not to bottom out. Not concerned about topping out since I'll be adjusting the other way, but was wondering about going to far the other direction. May need to get less spring? Too much lift is usually not the problem for most but any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

My goal was to get around one more additional inch and a much softer ride. I will say that even with the lift being as high as it is, the ride is night and day different. I love the ride so far, only about 18 miles since install.

No, I have not reached out to Steve about this. I’m going to first try to adjust with no preload and see where that gets me. Is there any problem adjusting all the way up no preload?

I also just measured the shock length at ride height and it’s 22 1/4 inches long. An inch and a quarter longer than it should be the right height. This is after I installed them with no adjustments.

What weight do you have up front?

I have RCI steel skid, dual batteries (NorthStar AGM), ARB dual compressor under hood. That's it up front. I do have Bamf sliders, drawer system/sleeping platform, fridge, camper shell and rear steel bumper.

I spoke to Steve and he said to take all the preload out, which means I have to remove the shock. I tried with PB blaster and two 5/6 harbor freight punches and it was just to difficult to move the whole 1 1/4" all the way up. My shock on the truck loaded is 22 1/4" which is too long. Supposed to be 21" max. Ordered the SPC spring compressor today and it will arrive Friday. Not looking forward to removing the shocks to compress and move the collar and then reinstall. I took me over 4 hours to do the install myself. I'm meticulous so was careful and took my time. But it was difficult.

@AccuTune Offroad do you guys sell the new Fox mounting brackets that replace the hose clamps? I noticed in the video below at 13 min that fox has a new style. My hose clamp is mounted too close to the hose fitting and I'm concerned it might damage it over time. I've tried moving it forward and the hose just will not give me enough room to move it.

It's not something we typically stock, but yes we can get them. They are very pricey from what I remember.

Do the air bumps make any noise when they make contact?
I'm adding a pair in the front because of a LT kit I'm installing but I'm debating on what to do in the rear.
I currently have superbumps and a ubolt flip in the rear and like it just fine.
Idk if I should also run air bumps in the rear or not.

Still at 23 inch after settling or dropped down some? I have a set pending from accutune and wondering how much I should expect to set the coilovers since I'm looking for similar lift numbers

    Thanks!

I had measured quite a few times, after some wheeling trips too. Didn’t really see a lot of settling. Still is slightly over 21” from lower shock mount to top hat per Accutune’s measuring method. Since then I trimmed fenders up to fit 35s better so can’t take these measurements again. Added an 80 lbs hybrid front bumper too and it didn’t really impact height.

Thanks for the reply, if you can fit 35's with these I shouldn't have problems with 33s
