Absolutely stock right now but looking for better fuel mileage mods. Looking for someone to do the KDMax tune
Hey Everyone, I am a new Tacoma owner (also a DIEHARD Ram and Jeep owner, owned multiples of both) here and purchased mine to use as a work truck. Always loved the tacos, just never owned one until now so, since I’ve owned it for a couple months now, I wanted to voice the issues. First and foremost, I am 6’1” 250 lb man and I feel like I’m almost laying down while driving this thing and I drive 350-500 miles a week therefore it’s taking a toll on my lower back. I have ordered some seat height blocks because I read it helps for body positioning, any guys my size please jump in here and give me some input on anything else you’ve found to help with this issue. Second, as with probably everybody, dogginess and shift searching is a bitch! I’m in New Braunfels and drive into, around and all over SA, NB, Canyon Lake, Bulverde and Spring Branch for work so I have a combined highway/city mpg of 17.3 (hand calculated) for the last 5000 miles. I’ve driven myself stupid with watching/reading reviews of all kinds of CAI, supercharger, tuner, exhaust mods and nobody spells it out in plain English on reviews, it’s like their all getting paid by whoever their talking about! SO, right now I am contemplating a KDMax tune with a SBF CAI and I am shooting for 20+mpg all stock engine and suspension for the time being.
    Whatchayall Think?
    GO!
