    I got lucky, almost missed him. Saw him coming in but he started heading in a direction that would make it harder for a shot. So I picked an opening he had to enter and while at a steady trot, I pulled the trigger. He dropped DRT. I figured I must of spined him and thats exactly what happened. 86 yard shot with an H&R 12 ga.

    Friend of mine let me take the kids to his stand today. He said let them shoot whatever. He said he has a nice 10, two 8’s, and a 7 on camera…..we saw a doe and two fawns at last light :rolleyes:

    It’s a one man stand and was a tad tight with 3 of us in it.

    Very thankful he let us hunt it though.
