    A few.
From what I can tell the problem was a Napa re-manned starter that I replaced it ‘19. Since it’s an ‘02 they don’t make anything new anymore, even the OEM starter is re-manned. At this point I’ve chalked it up to the buy once cry once theory, i should have gotten a Toyota starter from the get go. After several discussions with a few mechanics (one is my brother-in-law) and performing the diagnostics I couldn’t find any issues. Even a bench test was successful on one of the starters that wouldn’t turn the truck over. Everyone has said that the quality of parts from the usual parts stores has gone to shit in the last two years. My mechanic buddies say they have less than a 50% success rate with “big box” parts since the beginning of the pandemic.

As for the wiring harness, I upgraded that when I installed the high output alternator in August of ‘16. There is no corrosion on that harness and it’s much larger gauge wire than stock. It passed the voltage drop test at all parts through the circuit. :notsure:
