    Sold. Thank you.

    134,000ish miles
    $12,500
As the subject implies, I'm putting up my 2010 Tacoma V6 SR5 Access Cab 4x4 with automatic transmission. Here's the story:

I bought this truck about a year ago from a very close friend. He always buys Tacomas and replaced this one with a new one. At that time, I was waiting for an F-150 Lightning, and I needed a truck, so I bought this truck to hold me over till the Lightning showed up. It is my 2nd Tacoma. That has taken longer than expected, and I've more or less abandoned the idea and will be getting a new Tacoma TRD Pro sometime in the next month. My friend takes good care of this vehicles. I doubt the gas pedal ever touched the floor, and he always took it to the dealer and did whatever the recommended maintenance was. The month prior to me buying it, he had new tires installed (Cooper Discover AT3), a power steering line replaced, and an O2 sensor replaced. About a year before this- sometime in 2019 or 2020, the frame was replaced under warranty and he did a do-it-yourself woolwax or similar. So you'll have a nice new frame to work with.

    The good:
-Truck has been maintained and cared for. Recent oil/filter change in last month. I asked the mechanic (my wife's cousin) to give it a close look and replace anything that needed replacing. She said she couldn't find anything that needed attention but suggested another coat of woolwax in the near future.
-Clean NH title, no accidents, no liens
    -New frame
-New brake calipers, pads, rotors, drums, shoes, and wheel cylinders under my ownership. It only needed calipers, but I tend to go overboard with stuff like this. You shouldn't have to worry about brakes for a while.
-New steering shaft. When I bought it, it had a clunk related to a failing joint, so I had it replaced
-New rear exhaust in last six months. It had a hole in it, and instead of patching it I just had it replaced.
-Truck is bone stock with no modifications. Blame Toyota if something isn't right, not me!
-Thule rack included. I'm not terribly impressed with the rack, but it should handle a canoe just fine. I've put small loads of lumber on it, but wouldn't go crazy.
    -Weathertech mats up front

    The bad:
-It's spent its entire life in New England, which probably lead to the frame failure. While it has a new frame, there are some spots that look a bit ugly. I do not see anything major with the body, but if you crawl underneath or look under the hood you can see what I'm talking about.
-The gas cap door hinge is half broken, which I understand is "normal" for this generation. It opens and closes, but makes noise while doing so and doesn't work smooth. My intention was to replace it when it falls off. I assumed it was going to happen within weeks of owning it, but here we are over a year later and it works the same as when I bought it.
-The radio shuts off intermittently. Again, I understand this is a known problem, and my friend had it replaced under warranty, but the replacement one does the same thing. Sometimes I'll go a month without it happening, and sometimes it will happen 3-4 times a day. It's just a matter of pushing the power button and it turns back on.
-We recently moved from NH to VT. All records are in storage and there is 0 chance of me finding them. Thankfully I have the title handy.
-No trailer wiring. A new hitch was put on after the frame was replaced, but there is no wiring. My friend never towed anything and neither have I. I imagine this means that the truck does not have a towing package.

    The ugly:
-The rear bumper was starting to look terrible with rust. A few months ago I sanded it, took a wire wheel to it, cleaned it up, and sprayed it with bed liner. It looked good for a few months, but ugliness is starting to creep through again. If I were keeping it, I'd probably take the opportunity to replace it with a cool steel bumper. Currently it looks fine from 20 feet but when you get close you'll know it should be replaced.
-The steel wheels are ugly. Like every Toyota of similar age I see, the wheels have corrosion on them. Again, I had it in mind to have them blasted and powder coated, but never got around to it.
-Headlights aren't clear, and have some hairline cracks in them. There's no moisture getting in, so you might be able to rejuvenate them, or use this as an excuse to replace.
-Truck has been used (but not abused). It has some dings and light scratches typical of a 12 year old vehicle that has been used for recreation.

    The verdict:
I think this truck has good life left in it. Use it for dump runs or trip to the hardware store. Use it as a blank canvas and build it into something fun. Or use it to commute and run errands like I have. It could also make a decent first vehicle for a new driver. I'm picky, so I probably wouldn't drive it cross country, but I bet it would do just fine. I've always wanted to bed-liner an entire truck, and it crossed my mind to do it to this truck. I won't get around to it, but I think you oughta do it! I bought this truck thinking I'd have it for 6 months, so I didn't plan on caring all that much about it, but it's grown on me and I'll probably miss it.

Truck is located outside Middlebury, VT. I work 4-5 days during the week and can usually find time to meet you somewhere near Middlebury in the evenings during the week or almost anytime during the weekends. You are more than welcome to have the truck inspected by a mechanic. I know of nothing wrong with the truck, but to state the obvious- no warranty is expressed or implied. Cash deal only, no trades please. The dealer will happily take this on trade next month, but I'd rather someone here get it for a little less than the dealer will sell it for. KBB for private party sale in fair condition is $11,336-$13,649. I think that "fair" condition is more than a fair assessment on my part, and that starting in the middle of that range is also fair. Feel free to let me know if you disagree, I will not take offense. I will make every effort to reply to questions promptly and update the thread if it sells. Photos are slow to upload, so I will post one here, and followup with more in the next few minutes. I'm not in a particular hurry to sell it- so if someone needs to sleep on it, take it for inspection, or arrange financing, that is fine. I'm still driving it everyday and my new truck is about a month out. With that said, if someone was anxious I'd sell it today. I'm also contemplating donating it to charity or giving it to my sister in law if it doesn't sell here. IMG_4091.jpg Thanks for looking! -Adam
EDIT: Uploading photos is painfully slow, and for some reason half of them are showing as duplicates. I will happily text message any additional photos.
