Hey guys, looking for some insight here. I have a gen1 grey Supercharger. I was just prepping to install the 7th injector kit and removed the EGR blankingplate that was installed. I cracked the left 13mm bolt and noticed a hairline crack opening up… now with it out, the piece has broken off and fallen (not in the charger)

Does Anybody know if there are replacement parts for this? I ran a piece of haywire in, and this hole continues into the body of the SC. That bolt won’t even thread in now cause of what is missing. At a standstill with a dead taco in the garage… :annoyed:

Yeah, I actually had a buddy msg me that Jon Bond Performance has the whole manifold piece for 299… that might be my only option me thinks.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
cheaper than the other option i could think of.. which is weld it back together and redrill and tap.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I gotta agree with buying the manifold piece if indeed it can be bought yet.

That sure looks like a casting it might be just the picture.

Casting flaw the just decided to break now .

Your sure those are M13 bolts for a EGR block off plate and not M8

Will the EGR ever be installed again?? Quick fix braze a stud in the broken hole bolt the block off plate on.

If you can`t braze epoxies have vastly improved in the last 20 years if you need up and running.

    Good luck !!

They seem to be the correct size & thread. I’m able to run the new ones in no issue. Well, I’ll never have the blanking plate installed again unless I really don’t want to keep the 7th injector kit.

I hope to have it here by the weekend coming up.. I’ve started to review the 200+ pages on the 3.4l sc thread trying to figure out exactly how to get this back manifold swapped out.. so much reading lol

M13 bolts are just slightly bigger then 1/2" Those must handle lots of stress to need to be that large.

It must be the picture that makes them look smaller.

    Good luck

I’ve actually found a bolt about 10mm longer, same pitch and thread. Got it in there now, and hit it with some jb weld like some have suggested.

Seems to be holding now. I may just cancel my order of that housing .
