OneWheel owners?

Most of the serious injuries that I’ve seen posted on Facebook are from people who are not wearing safety gear and pushing the board pass its limits.
I’ve been riding since January 18 of this year and have logged in over a Thousand miles and I have not had a major injury at all.

I fallen off the board several times but nothing that my safety gear could not handle.

 

Range test for the 4209 with the CBXR and the VnR with a 60v 5ah Greenworks battery…
Board weight is 38.9lbs
Rider: 228lbs
Burris treaded tire @ 25psi.
Outside temperature was between 48° and 54°

I made it almost 35miles before it died & I had to walk the last 3/4mile home.

Regardless, I did what I wanted to do: go from my home all the way to the Delaware River and back via the Pennypack Trail. 

 

Set up the boards for extended shelf time now that is so cold.
Took them all to about 30-40% battery for storage.
It was fun to get out yesterday even if I had to bundle up to ride.




I’ve decided that if it’s below 40° outside even if it’s sunny it’s just too damn cold to ride.

Also the board’s performance is severely hampered by the lower temperature. I see about a 30% drop in range.

Here’s hoping for some 50° Clear weather weekends

Have a Pint X that i got in August... decided that i probably should have the bigger board so i ordered it on black friday.
