2003 LED bulbs flicker(not compatible?)

Heyo, just got my first truck today.
2003 Tacoma prerunner, was spending tonight cleaning it all up and realized how hard it is for me to see anything with these regular interior lights. My dad has a 21 and bought this big pack of white led and red dome light for his, it had some extras and we decided to throw one in the dome light of mine. The bulb was slightly big but still fit, it was a dim flicker getting in and out with the keys in my pocket, worked fine once I would click on a map light. Anyone have a suggestion for a compatible bulb or if these are, what’s the fix?
