Has anyone here installed these or can recommend a good shop to install these?

Tread Depot quoted $125 x 4 hours to install, but the youtube videos show it takes about an hour. I'm debating on doing it myself but I'm probably gunna drop it on myself or something. I would pay 2 hours at the most, or am I thinking something else that this install is correct?>

There’s no drilling for the Tacoma rack right?

If so I think assembling the damn thing would take longer than actually installing it. lol

Yep! It’s really not hard to install, but a shop is going to have a minimum before it’s even worth their time.

Have a garage? Get some pulleys and tie the rack to the ceiling. You could totally solo install it without any risk or fear of droppage then.

Super easy, less than 1 hour install and if you can get one other person to help lift at the end then you don't have to worry about scratching. What I did is on the weather stripping pull that up and lay it parallel to where it was and make a mark of the factory holes. Drill out the holes in the weather stripping where the holes are, quick tip get a pilot hole and increase to the size for the Spacers as there is a small metal piece inside that makes it a pain. Then put the spacers then brackets on hand tight. On the ground assemble the rack keeping things loose. With another pair of hands you can lift the rack up on top and each person can place the bolts for the brackets that holds everything together. Get it even and then start tightening everything down so it is nice and even and you're done. I did go back and put some silicon on the bolts going into the roof of the truck because I didn't want to chance a leak.

what light bar and side/rear did you go with if any?

also, is the road/wind noise zero-minimal as described by manufacturer?

Went with no lights all together, I read around and seems like the light bar glares pretty bad off of the hood, so you have to either raise it or put some wrap down to manage it. Wind noise is not noticeable but I'm sure with a light bar there will be a lot more. I have plans to put a light bar behind the grill so I dont have to worry about either one of those problems.

iv got a baja bar in my bumper and it’s a ton of light. Do I need a rack mounted bar too? Lol…prob not. As much as I’d like too do white light, maybe I should just do an amber bar. Just isn’t that much fog where I’m at

Id save the money and look for other mods or get the caliraised amber fog light or the tri color bulbs, been through some crazy fog and they do the job just fine.

I have a light bar in my caliraised roof rack, and I’ve only used it one time in the two years that the rack has been on the truck. Like @Teliotex said, if you want that light to get anywhere near illuminating the ground, it’s gonna light up the hood a fair amount.

Now if you had a Baja laser bar up there, you could just use that to see into the future.
