I worked for an Electrical Engineer for 8 years so you know I don't have the slightest clue how to do something correctly but have enough knowledge to make it work.

 

That’s kinda my problem too. In my current role as a Process Controls Engineer I am responsible for the verification of the wiring from the control system out to the end devices and the programming of the controls. Mainly 24V for the analog controls and 120 for the discrete controls. Anything outside of that and I’m calling our EE.

 

missing the locknut and bushing on the pvc pipe. but at least your connections are good!

I don't think you need the bushing on PVC conduit.

 

the locknut is required, the bushing is technically only required with wire sizing larger than 4ga, though it's a professional way to finish the pipe off.

 

Since we’re on the electrical fun… here’s a piece of trivia my father and I often debated:

I understand the theory of A but in a modern home how many devices have a ground pin vs those that don't and Wall Wart power supplies usually don't like the weight hanging above the prongs so B
