It appears that all my low beams and fog light bulbs blew at once.

Realized after the truck in front of me departed that I was driving with no lights... once I safely stopped I could see that both LB and fogs were out. HB all good, much to the chagrin of oncoming traffic the rest of the way home...JK

Being an armature know-it-all I decided that a 4 bulb failure wasn't logical and skipped the "check the bulbs" step and set about testing all the fuses and the relay with the multimeter in the rain... once I exhausted all of what I thought were logical sources I checked power to the LB and found power at the plugs and blown LB bulbs... trust me, lesson learned.

The Fogs aren't working but have not been able to wrestle the bulbs loose yet.

    The two immediate questions are...
    1. Will the fogs stop working if the LB bulb is blown? In my old wrangler, if one bulb blew, it would fk up other lights on the truck.
    2. Any ideas out there on what could cause 2 and maybe 4 bulbs to blow at the same time?

    Thanks for any help..

    Mike

UPDATE: Confirmed, all LB and fog smoked at the same time...WTH?

UPDATE#2: Replaced LB bulbs, they seem to be ok so far. trying to locate H16's for the fogs.
