Partsengine.ca Canadian site. Also check out truck parts superstore. If you’re in Canada of course.

Just picked my power tailgate lock up from the dealer an hour ago, one of a few items I ordered with the 15% off deal, any pitfalls or gotchas I should be aware of when installing?

You just leave them plugged in to the outlet while driving?

Nice upgrade. Someone mentioned that I on the 22’s they had to run the wire down the drivers side.

    Stock as of now
I just got the OTT and got 18 mpg with 255/80's. That is a hand calculation with mileage adjusted for tire size. That tank was this past Saturday going from 1100' to 7500' and back in hilly terrain with about 40-50 miles offroad. I was very happy with the tune and satisfied with the 18 mpg. In town I only get about 17. If I could get 20, I would be ecstatic.

Do you have any link to something saying this? I have seen nothing saying the 2022 is any different then previous years.

I do this on mine too. Yep. I just make a point to turn the outlet off before turning off the truck.

Yeah I bought them as well. Let’s hope they hold up in the ccccold New England winter!! Lol. There’ll be a 60 degree day up here this week. So that and a few passes with the heat gun should be all it needs.

The plastic bezels that you put in the tailgate are something to watch out for: getting them oriented the right way will either make that step go quickly or make you want to go inside for another beer. And the exhaust parts have sharp edges so I got a few minor cuts (laugh if you want; I'm not the master mechanic some other folks are). Also, I saw some posts about the wires going down the driver's side but not in my situation; it was exactly as pictured in the instructions.

No but I remember someone posted that the opening that takes the small grommet that’s usually under the passenger seat wasn’t there.
    That’s all I have.
