Got cursed at for trying to stop a truck from hitting a shepherd puppy that was wandering in the middle of road. A 45mph road.

 

Did ya give him one of these...

 

Nah. Ignored him. Not worth the time or effort to even respond. But I find it irritating.

 

was the puppy ok?

Got the pork loins cut and bagged random...

 

I think so. He was evading capture and kept running down the middle of the road. Eventually he came to a farm lane while running away from us. He took off down the farm lane away from the road, so its possible he found home. Either way he was far from the road when we left. I couldn't do much on crutches and he couldn't be caught, so I'm hoping that was his home. If not, I know the people who live there. He has tags, so they'll get him to the right place if he's not theirs.

I feel bad though. I wanted to make sure, but I was at the mercy of others timewise. Other people stopped to help, so I think it will turn out ok.

 

I did my best to make sure he was ok.

 

Well you can only do so much, at least you tried to help.
