You need drawing bags… a leather oval filled with clay beads or metal beads.

Was at a location today that had plan racks… with the classic t knobs to lock the drawings in and just hang in the rack.

The plans we keep in my office are all stored flat. It's the ones that are stored in the buildings that get rolled up and stuffed into some dark dungeon of a mechanical room that I have to occasionally fight with.
    I have 3 of those. :D

We had a tiny one for 11x17 plans but I just got rid of that one.

I've never been in a helicopter. Several planes, but no choppers. I've always liked the apache military helicopters and thought they would be a blast to fly and blow stuff up with though. :plane:

This was in the local news a few years back. Rough ride indeed. :puke:

Not far from the truth
Stayed busy yesterday working on this contraption.
Got home and had a bite to eat, watched news and conked out at 7:30:anonymous:
Having the time off after outage was nice but it didn't help me get completely turned back around my internal clock. Getting better though.
    Have a great day crew.

Oh, never flown in a chopper but would like to some day. I'm pretty sure most every year at Nebraska City Apple Jack Festival they have chopper rides. It's not cheap and only like 5 minutes but I'd still do it.
There's a younger Engineer here where I work that is a Life Flight Pilot. I think he acquired Engineer degree then Army where he learned to fly the chopper.

Helicopters, I could take it or leave it. I prefer something that can glide a bit and land compared to a hunk of metal precariously trying to fend off gravity that will drop like a rock.

Now to go fend off gravity manually.:D Weather is about to change here in a couple of hours. Wind is shifting, rain is stopping, temps are dropping. Time to hit the tree stand. Again.

Ive got a coworker who picked up two gator tags from the state lottery. They designate the area and the weapon. The kill has to be with a bang stick. Meaning you've got to snag the gator with a trebel hook and either reel them in on a rod or pull them in on a hand line and pull them very close to you before the bang stick.

Yeh its a no from me too. If I cant reach out and touch em with a rifle then no.

He's hunting mostly in open water and you can't set bait lines. The gators drop to the bottom as soon as you show them interest. Needless to say he hasnt filled either tag lol.

    Good morning crew
I stayed up way too late, but I had one goal. Get a prototype blade machined for my folder knife I designed.

    Looking good!!!

Question, I have a friend with a 12 year old son and he's trying to make a blade. I told him I'd find him a piece of material here at work. Which is better, 440C or A2 for him?

I have no experience with A2 so I have to throw that to the knife forum.

    https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/a2-vs-440c.1411312/

Looks like a lot of guys say A2! I will agree. I like tool steels for fixed blades. All of my fixed blade hunting knives I’ve bought are D2

Thanks, luckily we have a piece of A2 and don't have to find 440C :D
