Meguiares ScratchX works wonders on damaged crystals. I'm really hard on my timepieces and have successfully removed similar damage with ease. May need several applications to remove them all but you may only need one pass.

Always been a fan of Seikos. Recently picked up this new SSB403. The detail on the face is excellent. It came with a nice NATO strap but I found that it sat too high on my wrist. Switched for the strap from my Seiko 5 and think it suits it. It's a real solid piece for the money.

    Cheers.

I really like the silicon straps as well.

I like the NATO straps best, but they get dirty fast .

Found my old Rip Curl Tide watch today.

It was between the mattress and box spring. ( Don't ask why, I don't know).

I've always liked this Swiss movement battery watch.

(Shown next to my everyday wear Seiko for comparison).PXL_20221128_223703675.jpg PXL_20221128_223849223.jpg

Going with one of my Momentum M50s today; I have three (different color schemes). Today is the all black version. These watches are tanks, very heavy. Momentum (formally St. Moritz dive watches) makes great watches. They’re a very underrated brand, IMHO.

My daily casual. Solid and easy to read. The automatic drives me a little crazy if I don't wear it for a few days. I love the mods that guys do to these. My shop watch is an older Timex Weekender. It's one of those "cheap to replace if it gets broken" kind of watches. But its been absolutely bulletproof.

I hear you on the time keeping. If you don't manually wind it every day at the same time, it can lose a minute a day .

I set mine 2 minutes fast so I don't get worked up on it's poor time keeping.

I am liking the glass durability. I've never owned a watch that was so impervious to welding spatter as this one.

Ignore the incorrect time but just picked up the Citizen Promaster over the last few days. Really happy with it so far.

My love of cheap watches continues. I have several Casios but only 1 Timex until now.
For $40 it's nice. Love the Timex Indiglo. The date is impossibly small but I didn't buy it for that. The band is really soft. The second hand lines up with the indices perfectly. It's nice they put the lug size on the case back.

Let’s get some convo going here! I’m not sure if anyone here is actually in the business or all just owners and enthusiasts but curious to hear thoughts on Rolex announcing they will certify pre owned. What do we think this will do for the grey market of Rolex watches? It’s been on a downtrend which is great as a hopefully future buyer!

Nothing but respect for the inexpensive Timex watches.
The Expeditions and Weekenders are probably the best bang for the buck out there.
This thing gets beaten and banged in the shop and still looks good, keeps decent time and I only have to clean the band every so often with Dawn and a toothbrush.

    Cheers.

Just found a great price on this OEM Seiko 22mm silicon diver strap on Ebay, for my SRPD11 Save the Oceans black-and-blue Turtle. I didn't even know they were available with black anodized hardware to match the case. All the others I have seen were twice the price with silver hardware. These OEM silicon straps are super comfy and burly.

CryptoBros are in desperate flight mode right now. I feel confident in this assessment, due to intimate knowledge of conflict and divorce proceedings amongst the local nouveau-bourgeois, crypto-rich, pre-K parents.

I'm not into Rolex, I'm into SEIKO and Omega. Hopefully the Rolex run and subsequent liquidation will saturate the market and make my grails more affordable.

New whip as of today. Have an Uncle Seiko jubilee bracelet on the way which will replace the fabric strap.
