2003 Tacoma dash sound

Owned for 2 days, took to dealer yesterday need a list of work, this wasn’t mentioned any help?? Kinda annoying

 

My 03 prerunner has that same sound coming from the dash too. I thought it was my tape stereo, but I couldn’t confirm it. If you find it post it up.

 

Two trouble spots on mine.......

Most common with these is center of dash cover vibrates on top of the metal defrost vent tubes at center of dash.

And on mine if you do any work around ecm, blower, or internal ac stuff......you have to be careful of a harness that goes to passenger air bag......that mounts in a clip on top of glove box.....if the clip breaks or its doesnt clip back in .....it will rattle like crazy at low rpms.....its an effort to get that back together right....
