Planning on a new bumper (SSO bumper or something like that) and was wondering it is better to get a light bar in the grill or in the bumper? Searched the light forums and didn't see this question. Is one spot better than the other? Thoughts?

    Thanks!

Depends on what fixture you are using, what you are trying to accomplish and how concerned you are with airflow for your radiator.

Speaking with @memario1214 at hotshot off-road should be a good starting point

    Oh look, another mod....
I have the SSO/Slimline style bumper w/light. The light is more like a.....flood/search light. It illuminates very brightly low on the ground. I've seen the grille lights and they act kind of the same way, but also in a "headlight" capacity.

I think you answered my question by mentioning airflow. Got to have it for towing. 5100 lb. Have aux trans cooler. So sounds like bumper is the way to go?
