Wow the Army beat out the Navy, Marines and Air Force!?!

At least the Marines tied with Air Force!

I picked up a Pro Eagle reseller account, but need to offload 5 jacks for the first purchase. So after this sells, if anyone is interested, let me know. Call it a mini-NoVa group buy.

In case anyone is wondering, the 2 ton is a beast, it’s what I have. Lifted my loaded trailer with ease (8k lbs). I’ve also used mine tons Offroad.

Randy certified...good enough for me! :D

Is it just me, or is that Tundra squatting?

Edit: potentially squatting because you are lifting the trailer?

It does have like 1,000 lbs of tongue weight so she’s gonna squat a little. Plus the picture angle makes it looks worse than it is.

Really surprised the Army Navy Club isn't on the list (Fairfax right off 395). Probably the nicest place I've been too as far as club house, history, greens and stuff (seriously, who get's better view/weather than Kbay also?!?). A little shocked that Andrews tops the list since there are so many better places imho (but they do have 3 courses).

Hey guys! Been a minute since I've been on posted, but was thinking of getting a cap for my truck which means the bed rack would have to go. Was wondering if anyone here locally is looking for a nice setup. It's a Tacomapocalypse.com mid-height 3-bar, 4-panel rack. Very well made and in great shape. I believe it'll fit a 3rd gen as well. Sells for over $800 new. All mounting hardware will come with it as well as 4 recovery boards, 2 fire extinguishers mounted on quickfists, fishing rod holders.$400 obo. Will also be selling the in-bed spare tire mount, which holds up to a 35" tire

Potentially interested in the spare mount and if you have more photos/details on it.

    Seriously. That place is crazy.

When my dad was at the R&D center at Ft. Belvoir and I was actually in town I used to go meet him occasionally to play that course. With the enlisted discount in the early 90's it was under 10$ if you were there on a weekday.
Just because they have three courses doesn't really mean all that much. I have played it and its nice...but it isn't all that.

Army/Navy is a nicer course...you are correct on that.

One of the other surprises for me was Pensacola wasn't on there. The course on the Pensacola NAS was pretty outstanding the last time I was there.

I should have signed up for the Army Navy club because the lower rank you are the cheaper it is annually and it's for life! I don't play much golf anymore, but my buddy who is still a member (as a 1st lt back in the late 90's, so his fee is like $1200 a year) just had his daughters wedding at the clubhouse for free!!! Best venue I've seen up there imho!

Anyone want an insane deal on a Stihl Ms251 chainsaw? Lightly used. Always used manufactured premix. Tuned up last year. Have another tune up kit, extra chain, case, rest of fuel. I'm going electric.

What classifies as an insane deal? I have little need for a bigger chainsaw but I’ve wanted something larger than my 12” dewalt for awhile.

That is an insane deal! Nice! I have the 251CF I think. The one where you pull gently on the starter pull. Always starts right up and I'm not using 50% of my energy to get it running! Electric has come a long way now, so I understand why you're going that route. My dewalt is awesome for the smaller stuff and quick to use.

Me and this chainsaw don't always see eye to eye. Probably user error. I don't use it enough to justify a gas saw anyway.

I’ve been told the reason for the uptick in battery powered tools (chainsaws, blowers and the like) is for noise ordinances in subdivisions and apartment complexes. Yes they have come a long way, but now the tree companies or landscapers don’t have to wait. They can get right in at the butt crack of dawn and do their thing and crank up the chipper later at whatever time and not loose a partial days work just for the noise ordinance crap. Down my way, many a company has both gassers and battery setups on there trucks.

Makes total business sense to me. I have to admit that I really like the push button and immediate start of the electric. Not to mention that small ones like the dewalt are light to use on ladders....not that I would be standing on a ladder....never....not me....hahaha. The last time I cranked on my Stihl, my neighbors came over to see what I was doing. All they did was interrupt me as I was trying to clear trees, but I think they really wanted an excuse to have me move stuff with my tractor....neighbors.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
This will be hard to believe, but the states of California and New York mandated legislation to all of that style equipment electric by 2030 I think it what I saw. They sighted the increased pollution of the the two stroke engines as contributing to green house gasses. It's getting the push because there's money to be made as everyone converts. And adds generators to their trucks to power the recharging equipment.
