Any woodworkers?

I'm a fan of the burnt wood!

 

First time I tried it, looked to plain before.

 

I've done it to a few projects before and I like it a lot! Just gives it some character!

 

I've been dabbling in some burnt wood projects lately. I really love AND hate how cedar responds to open flames lol. On one hand, it burns really great and draws out some beautiful colors. On the other hand, it burns really great and becomes textured really easily.

 

It looks alot like my table saw outfeed table, lol.

 

I really need to do something along these lines. Since my shop is tiny, I was thinking of a folding one that's attached to the saw.

 

I use the outfeed table as an auxiliary workbench too. I do glue ups on it, etc. Soon I'll be installing 2 router lifts in it and a third on in the saw wing to the right.

 

I wish I could use my MFT table as an outfield, but it's about an inch too high. D'oh!
I guess if I got off my ass and finished repairing my iceboat, I'd be able to get rid of the stupidly long strongback table to free up space.

 

I wood have to disagree. Yours looks like it wasn’t assembled with mostly used items, you had the saws to do the proper cuts with clean cuts, and you didn’t use warped lumber. You have a very clean, professionally assembled table!

 

But it's all made from pallet wood.

 

So? I've made some pretty nice shit out of pallet wood, and seen some amazing projects others have made.

Pallet wood is awesome (if you can snake the good pallets).

This thread is far more wholesome than what I would expect from a "woodworking" thread on TW.

 

I despise working with epoxy but I continue to do it lol. Here’s the beginning of the journey on a maple live edge coffee table with the bills logo in epoxy
