Hello, I've not been in a forum for almost 15 years. Been a bit busy. This is my third 4x4, First 91 Nissan Pathfinder, Second, 96 Nissan 4x4 King cab, this is my first Toyota. I look forward to learning from the experience on this forum and hope to meet some of you eventually.

I am located near Vancouver, WA, looking to slowly mod this over the next few years. For now, I'm going to enjoy as is... still on a high that I bought a 'New' vehicle. Out of the last 10 vehicles I've owned, this the second I bought New. Only because the two year old with 45-50k miles on it cost almost the same.

It was as if the Mrs. was reading my mind; as soon as I picked her up in the truck, she said, "You're not planning on lifting this any higher... right??" of course I told her "NO, wouldn't think of it" while thinking better do it soon before she gets used to the height.

Wow! after watching 'Tinkerer's Adventure' Youtube videos, I may have a lot of research to do before thinking about how to set up my truck. So far I'm definitely thinking 2" or less on lift.

I don't think I'll be doing a lot of off roading. I don't know many friends (yet) who go off road near me. I believe in using the truck for what it was designed for, I know I would like the idea of a little firmer ride (not stiffer, just firmer than stock).

I have built stuff in the past with no budget, so I have a lot of bad habits. I am researching threads on lift to get an ideas on how much to budget for a proper 2" lift, but after seeing the video, maybe just a 1" spacer on the front may be all I may need to get started for now. I don't plan on running big tires.
It's a brand new truck, so 2 key fobs and a spare key.

Welcome to TW. Those headlights sure make the truck look a bit more modern… right off the bat!

I waited 10 months to lift. Then 8 more months to lift again. I got in trouble both times. Alas…. I can live in my truck if I need to. Haha

I had heard rumors of Toyotas coming in with just 1 key and an IOU. Glad to hear yours came with a full compliment.

my wife wasn’t too happy when I got the truck lifted either but she grew to love it. The sooner the mods go on the quicker anyone would get use to them

congrats on the truck and welcome!!
